Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BuyWise mobile application (“BuyWise”, “App”), provided by the developer (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using BuyWise, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1) What BuyWise does

BuyWise is a decision-support tool intended to help you reflect on purchases and spending choices. It is for informational and self-management purposes only.

2) Not financial advice

BuyWise does not provide financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. You are solely responsible for your decisions. If you need professional advice, consult a qualified professional. BuyWise provides general informational calculations only and does not account for your complete financial situation.

3) Eligibility

You must be legally able to accept these Terms and comply with applicable laws. If you are using BuyWise on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

4) Purchases and access

BuyWise may be offered as a one-time lifetime purchase (or other purchase types, if applicable). Purchases are processed by Apple via your Apple ID account. We do not store your payment card details.

• Restore purchases: if you previously purchased on the same Apple ID, use “Restore Purchases” in the App.
• Refunds: Apple handles refund requests. Please use Apple’s purchase support channels.

5) Apple standard EULA

If you are using the App on an Apple device, your use is also governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) unless a custom EULA is provided in App Store Connect: Apple Standard EULA.

6) Acceptable use

• Do not reverse engineer, copy, modify, or distribute the App except as permitted by law.
• Do not use the App in a way that violates laws or infringes rights.
• Do not attempt to interfere with the App’s security or normal operation.

7) Intellectual property

The App and its content (including design, text, trademarks, and code) are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws.

8) Availability and changes

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the App (or parts of it) at any time, including to maintain performance, security, or compliance.

9) Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for your particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other losses arising from your use of the App.

11) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or if required to do so for legal or security reasons.
